Pro Exotics is working together with UPS to enable live snake shipping
As many of you know, the shipping of non-venomous live snakes is against the
policies of the major overnight shipping companies. This has been a
real inconvenience for breeders and hobbyists alike.
Pro Exotics Reptiles, one of the world’s premiere reptile breeders,
has created a pilot program with UPS to prove that non venomous live-snake shipping
can be safe and reliable. UPS is currently assessing our current snake
shipments, along with our shipping materials, processes and quality
control, and the shipping test period should be completed by the end of 2008.
This pilot program will open the door for other breeders and shippers
to become UPS qualified to ship non venomous live snakes in the future.
We look forward to making this program a success, enabling other
breeders to ship non venomous live snakes using UPS — the best shipping company out
there.
