Roaches are an absolute favorite feeder insect for lizards, monitors, and other insectivores. They breed easier, live longer, have less smell than a cricket colony, and they will quickly become the #1 choice for your animals. They are nutritious and easy to feed as well. Lobster Roaches DO NOT FLY. Our monitors love Lobsters!

Get a copy of the Allpet Roaches book for $16 for care and husbandry info, it is packed with Scientific Roach info, over 60 Roach species accounts, plenty of pics, and breeding info. It is a fascinating book.
Get a jar of Bug Stop to prevent these wall and glass crawlers from escape as well. A MUST HAVE!

If you are looking to start a sustainable Lobster Roach feeder colony, consider the 500 quantity or more. Expect to take 2-3 months to really get your colony rolling along and productive. We have pictured here a simple Rubbermaid trash can setup that can hold a few thousand Lobsters. It is a simple setup, with a wide Bug Stop ring near the top to prevent escapes, it is easy access and easy maintenance, all in a small footprint container.
